(Safe Schools Requirements)

Question:     If I took them last year(FY 14-15 school year) do I need to take them again this year FY 15-16?  

Answer:       Yes, you will need to take all 7 trainings this school year (FY 15-16).

Question:    If I was a new substitute or re-hire and took all trainings in April, May or June do I need to take them again?

Answer:       Yes, you will need to take all 7 Required Trainings for the FY 15-16 school year. 

Question:    I am a returning substitute do I need to take all 7 trainings?

Answer:      Yes, returning and new hire substitutes are required to take all mandatory trainings (7 trainings).

Question:    I am being hired in a regular position do I still need to take the trainings?

Answer:      Yes, they are required by all school district employees.
