After a long delay we are pleased to announce that we have accomplished this goal.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal style='text-align:justify'><span style='font-size:12.0pt;line-height:115%'>This will be unlike the districts Smart Board training which is a 12 hour course offered in 2 (6) hour phases. Where as in the district course you will receive in-service points, No points will be offered in the Association course. The course we are offering will be a three (3) hour over view on the use of smart board, and will not go into as much depth and detail for designing instruction. For those subs who need the points you will still need to take the district training of 12 hours, thru staff development.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal style='text-align:justify'><span style='font-size:12.0pt;line-height:115%'>The Associations course has been scheduled for <b>Friday January 13<sup>th</sup> at 5:30 pm</b> at the districts central offices on Colonial Ave., class-room C.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal style='text-align:justify'><span style='font-size:12.0pt;line-height:115%'>This class is offered to all <b><u>Lee Associations members free of charge</u></b>, who are paid-Up and have taken the <b>pre-requisite class of the districts E-Mail class</b> with Ms .Linda Carter.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal style='text-align:justify'><span style='font-size:12.0pt;line-height:115%'>For those substitutes who are not members you are invited to attend but will be charged for the class.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal style='text-align:justify'><span style='font-size:12.0pt;line-height:115%'>The Association has had to hire paid instructors to teach this program. There fore we must pay out of the treasury. <b><i><u>The cost is FREE to all members</u></i></b>, and will cost $25:00 for non-members attendance. We recommend that those non-members may wish to join the Association for $20:00 dues for the year and enjoy other future activities of the Lee County Substitute Teachers Association at no cost.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal style='text-align:justify'><span style='font-size:12.0pt;line-height:115%'>To sign up for the Smart Board Class please register with <b><i>Vice President Christine @ 694- 8236</i></b>, or <b><i>President Marvin @ 542 1746</i></b>.
