 Our ultimate goal is to improve the status of substitutes in schools and among other professional educators, and to gain more control of our professional career and financial security.
Out of state NSTA member substitutes will be staying in University of Seattle Housing.  We welcome the Seattle colleagues to do the same for one or two nights, or drive in and out and spend 
a weekend with us sharing and learning to make your next and future years as a substitute more rewarding.
You will be able to take one or several training 
classes just for substitutes for which Seattle University will offer academic credit hours towards your certificate renewal.

 Sights of Seattle from the Argosy <https://origin.ih.constantcontact.com/fs058/1101221416869/img/267.jpg> Enjoy the food, the camaraderie and the sights aboard the Royal Argosy on Saturday evening, July 23.  The "night out" at our annual conference is an opportunity to bond and network with your colleagues and it is, for some, the highlight of the weekend if not of the whole summer.
Even if you are not registered at the conference you are welcome to join in on a "fun evening" with your fellow substitute educators.
