Glad to hear Kennon Raines from UTLA was elected the upcoming vp and I hope we can support her to the next conference in Birm, Ala.
She gives us excellent conference reports!
But please send the ? rt web site_____________________ for substitute teachers National Sub teachers Alliance ( not Nat SCIENCE teachers Assoc!)
http://www.nstasubs.org/FAQs/FAQs.html ? that is out of date and is talking about the 2010 conference in Vegas.... UTLA hosted one in 2011 or 12 or ?
Thanks for networking w us and personally, I do want to join NSTAlliance again but don't plan to attend any out of state sub t conferences. Thanks for letting me know how I join and get a receipt in case I could be reimbursed thru our budget for subs at utla!

Happy New Year, my friend.
I hope your holiday was bright and fulfilling and I wish you the very best
for 2015.
We got an early start on planning for our 2016 conference. Birmingham,
Alabama visitors bureau has contacted me and they are eager to host us next
year.
The school system there was cooperative when we put on a local training day
2 years ago and probably will be again. What a contrast to Roswell, Georgia!
I learned from that conference that I can't do it all myself or even with
just your help.
I always think that if I just do "one more thing" it will all turn out O.K.
Our Enservio project is on track and I expect to do a customer home visit
and then write a publicity message for out members and prospective members
to let them know about the opportunity to supplement their substitute
earnings.
I don't hear much from you and I understand you are busy but please keep me
in the loop with your local organization and try to set aside a little time
for NSTA.
We, the officers, accepted the "call to serve" and if we don't support the
organization it will founder.
